DJ Krush & Toshinori Kondo - "Ki-Oku" (1996)

DJ Krush & Toshinori Kondo
(1996)

...4 turntables ?! ...What for ?! A few years ago, I saw RJD2 using 4 turntables and not doing anything decent out of them (this added to the fact that he simply STOLE the great track "Hey Hey" by Gershon Kingsley  - at that point, you don't consider this a sample or a tribute, but if you're honest enough you call it a remix !!!) , and the same day I saw DJ Krush driving the whole crowd crazy with only two turntables... and his  wonderful skills ! Anyway, here is a nice project shared by DJ Krush and Toshinori Kondo (famous japanese trumpet player). Not the crazy DJ Krush live set style actually, but more the smooth jazzy DJ Krush studio album style. Pretty nice, still... (and with a funny -if not nice- Bob Marley cover !)
