I hadn't been listening to this one since ages, and what did I discover when I chose to rip this one ??? It had suffered from a massive sun overheating... See what I mean ?! So I tried to encode it the best I could, and the result isn't THAT awful (though it's not HD either !)... Considering how rare this vinyl is, I felt like I had to try anyway... If you find a better copy somewhere on the net, please share in the comments !!!

DJ Krush & Toshinori Kondo - "Ki-Oku" (1996)

DJ Krush & Toshinori Kondo
(1996)

...4 turntables ?! ...What for ?! A few years ago, I saw RJD2 using 4 turntables and not doing anything decent out of them (this added to the fact that he simply STOLE the great track "Hey Hey" by Gershon Kingsley  - at that point, you don't consider this a sample or a tribute, but if you're honest enough you call it a remix !!!) , and the same day I saw DJ Krush driving the whole crowd crazy with only two turntables... and his  wonderful skills ! Anyway, here is a nice project shared by DJ Krush and Toshinori Kondo (famous japanese trumpet player). Not the crazy DJ Krush live set style actually, but more the smooth jazzy DJ Krush studio album style. Pretty nice, still... (and with a funny -if not nice- Bob Marley cover !)
